
About Me
Welcome to my practice! My name is Kiera McGillivray and I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am registered with the State of Nevada as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am also an adjunct faculty member with the Couple and Family Therapy Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas teaching Contemporary Families. Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
I am trained in EMDR, a respectable and widely researched trauma therapy. EMDR is also successful in treating a variety of issues. I have extensive knowledge and experiencing working with different forms of trauma. My research in sex therapy and military families has been published in international psychotherapy journals.

Additionally, I am the co-founder of CORE, Mind and Body Institute in Las Vegas. Our focus is in the mind-body connection, and incorporating these practices into therapy, as well as teaching other mental health professionals.
